Brisk air. Changing leaves. The first fire. It can only mean one thing - fall is here! And with fall comes fall drinks. — The 1899 Cafe - Quality coffee, local experiences, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects the heart of Milbridge, Maine.

Brisk air. Changing leaves. The first fire. It can only mean one thing - fall is here! And with fall comes fall drinks.

Lemonade is replaced by pumpkin, blueberry bows out to cider, and cold drinks take a back seat to their hot counterparts. The 1899 Cafe has ushered in new fall specials, but we aren’t just settling for new drinks. Yes, we added pumpkin spice lattes and chaider to the menu, but we also welcomed sausage gravy over biscuits, a BLT, and soup specials. Cinnamon bun lattes and candy corn refreshers are making their premiere along with two chicken wraps and a chicken philly sandwich. Is your mouth watering yet?

While the menu is evolving with the seasons, the cafe itself is also transforming! We added a beautiful deck to the left side of the building with enough seating for 12 people. There is a ramp to accommodate all customers, and soon we will be adding an ADA-compliant door. We can’t wait to welcome new guests to our cafe. There are also changes coming that will make life a little easier for our team, so stay tuned for our November updates!
